The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, EPA, certifies the efectiveness against SARS-CoV-2 of alloys with at least 95.6% of copper.

Our antimicrobial adhesive coatings are C11000 in the Unified Numbering System for Metals and Alloys, UNS. The copper content of our coatings exceed 99.9%, which registers in the Antimicrobial Copper Alloys- Group 1 (EPA Reg. No. 82012-1).

The results obtained after microbial culture lab analysis over 60 object (30 copper-intervened ICU objects and 30 non copper-intervened ICU objects), during 6 weeks:

Antimicrobial Copper is the most effective touch surface material in the fight against pathogenic microbes

A laboratory research done in 2014 at Dr. Sótero del Río Hospital, compared Intensive Care Units (ICU) with CUNOV’s antimicrobial copper adhesive coating Vs. ICUs with no intervention, revealing that copper reduced in 81.2% the total burden.

After these outstanding results, ensures that our services and products satisfy the copper registration in the Environmental Protection Agency of the United States of America.
